This renewal will support critical services and improve the quality of life without raising taxes.
The 4.8 mill levy protects $137 million in funding for critical services, and that’s roughly half of local HHS funding. Revenue is earmarked specifically for health and human services and cannot be used for anything else.

The levies bring home hundreds of millions in vital state and federal matching funds, mostly for mandated programs, much of which would disappear without local funding.

Property owners will continue to pay about $9.50 per month on $100,000 of auditor-appraised value. The 2024 renewal will support critical services and improve the quality of life across the county without raising taxes.
